Kieran the rules need to be made clearer/explained as it mislead me being unaware for asking permission to store buses for another operator for example which got me very annoyed. I think other then that you have done a great job.

I think there should be an option to buy blind inserts rather than having to buy new blinds every time you win a route.

Perhaps every other weekend or so, there can be rail replacement services needed. To make it more realistic, these services can coincide with real Tube, Overground or DLR closures.

Question;where/how do you pay your stuff to TFL etc etc etc?

|
Post by Safwaanf1 on Aug 2, 2014 9:13:07 GMT
I believe you don't actually pay it- the game is based upon trust and honesty. You monitor your own balance, and you take away any expenses from your balance. Of course, anyone could just cheat and pretend that they have a lot of money when actually they're broke (or even bankrupt), but like I said: the game is based upon trust and honesty.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure myself. It's probably better to wait for LondonConnect to give you an answer. He's in charge of the game. Only thing is, he's hardly ever online.

And which "other sundays/mondays" etc etc etc do you have to give out money and stuff? Let me explain everything. OK, this is what to do and I'll start you off with it: Buying buses; you buy buses from this website: www.londonoperatorgame.weebly.com it says a part for "Shop" on the top screen, then select either "single decker" or "double decker" or if there is an error, contact LondonBuses72 ( LondonConnect). Route bids; LondonConnect will place route bids and he'll also put the form for bidding, look for the link To search go to "results" in the London Operator board in the home screen, click "route (I forgot) by LondonConnect on the top rows of threads. Garage bids; just like the route bids above, go to the Results board and click the garage results by @london connect thread. Bus allocation, etc (of your company); this is very very simple forward that you also have the sense to know. You can post your allocations here, but please do in the 'Others' board then create a thread for your company's allocations. Notice; stay tuned for route bids, garage bids, and consultations Regards Unorm

I never knowingly make a spelling, grammar or punctuation error. If I do accidentally I fix it asap. Another reason why I'm weird (if you knew me, you'd agree that I'm weird).

LondonConnect, I am not at all satisfied with the way you are running the game. You are hardly ever online, you give no indication as to when the next routes and garages will go up for tender, you don't respond to my messages and you don't announce the results on time. You haven't even made blind inserts available yet, even though it's been at least a month since it was meant to be available. I don't think this is acceptable. If you want to run the game then do it properly, otherwise let someone else do it. P.S. It'll probably be another week before you even read this.

Safwaanf1 You have a very good point which is actually a fair point. He isn't running the game in a certain standard expected when Kieran gave over control of the game to him as TFL in this game. Your correct indeed that he's hardly ever online on the forum/WLBB, that is normal as he's likely to be busy with other stuff; however I do agree on the lack of indication of next routes and garages due up for tender. Obviously, I can't comment on responses to messages but I would think it'll be quick provided that he's not busy (whatever he's doing offline). Yes the blind inserts isn't available yet and I agree with you that it isn't acceptable. I also strongly agree with your final sentence. In terms of trying to contact him I'll try but yet again he's likely to be offline and probably on holiday which he might be and didn't leave a message on the LOG board.

I can loan garage space, thing is it won't be much use if there's no routes to operate.

I was thinking, if this goes on for much longer, like another week or 2, do you think someone should temporarily take control of the game?

Right, blind inserts are in and I am writing up the new tenders for routes, and I'll sneak in a few garage tenders too. Sorry for those who have waited too long.
Also, how do you feel on putting rail replacements on contract for every 6 months in the game?

Unorm, I read that post (you did a sly one) and that's a perfectly valid reason, but we should've been informed before about the situation.
