Now this may sound weird but if we had the Enviro 500 With TFL spec it would change London Forever overcrowding would be cut but the problem is that TFLs requirements would be changed unless ADL get rid of the third set of Wheels or make a brand new lot.

TFL has Rule about lengths of buses including double deckers and single deckers thats probably why we did not get the Enviro 300.

There is no rule about lengths of buses The E300 can't be dual door (TFL spec) due to the way the Chassis is designed, you can have a Scania E300 dual door but there is no real need as you can get the Citaro, Eclipse 2, Scania Omnilink/Omnicity In reply to your first post, an E500 without a third axle is a E400... The E400 could be made longer to hold more people but then it would be illegally overweight

What I'm saying is, the E500 isn't allowed partly because it has three axles, ie, three sets of wheels. Why isn't that allowed? Apparently it would cause dwell times at stops to increase meaning route performance would go down as late running would increase
