After reviewing bus services in the Wembley, Brent Park, Park Royal and Willesden areas, we have gone to the drawing board to draw out some new ideas to improve the reliability and bus services in the aforementioned areas.
Route 206:
We propose to withdraw this route between Wembley Park, The Paddocks and Brent Park IKEA, and to re-instate the route to St Raphael's Estate.
Route 224:
We propose to withdraw this route between St Raphael's and Harlesden Station, and to re-instate it to Willesden Junction Station.
Route 226:
We propose to withdraw this route between Ealing Broadway Station and Central Middlesex Hospital, and then to re-route it via route 260 and 487 to North Acton, then along the 266 to Old Oak Common Lane, where the route will follow the 228 to White City Bus Station OR Holland Park.
Route 228:
We propose to delete this route completely. Look at route 226 for replacement.
As Saf-One London operate this route, if these proposals go ahead, operations on route 226 will transfer to Saf-One London.
Route PR1:
This route, withdrawn in 2007, will be re-instated between Ealing Broadway Stn and Willesden Junction Stn along the 226 routing. However, after Willesden Junction Stn, the route double runs via Willesden Junction Station and goes back to the Jubilee Clock and follows the 226 to Roundwood Park where it terminates. The PVR will be 6. To compensate for our loss, we [LondonConnect] will operate routes PR1 and PR2. The route runs every 15 minutes.
Route PR2:
This route, withdrawn in 2011, will be re-instated between Wembley Park, The Paddocks along the former routing all the way to Willesden Junction Station. After, like PR1, will be extended to Roundwood Park to terminate. The PVR will be 8. The frequency will be every 15 minutes Mon-Sat, or Sunday every 30 minutes. A new Sunday service will be introduced. To compensate for our loss, we [LondonConnect] will operate routes PR1 and PR2.
A consultation form will open up soon, and we will release a date for when it closes.
