About TT, they have lots of spare buses, they might as well use them for the 25 if they are in a good condition.

They have, for its drastic PVR increase of one(!) But surely for such an important route they could order more buses?

Not to mention the one bus CAME FROM 266 / 295 BATCH (I get confused with X and AS all the time ) , so they can use other buses from the world to help it.

Excellent news for Tower Transit. They are about to receive the second or third biggest garage in London in the form of Westbourne Park X! From April 13th work will begin on the extension of the garage that will include new screened bus washing and refuelling facilities together with external lighting and CCTV. The elevated deck will have an additional 99 parking spaces for buses and below the deck another 53 spaces for buses and 70 spaces for staff cars (If needed that could be made into 40 spaces for buses?) plus the 88 buses already at X which brings the garages capacity to 240! Work is expected to be completed in 2016 but according to a TT driver routes 28, 31 & 328 will move in by next year leaving the 266 on its own for a bit!

Fantastic news to hear ... hopefully TT manages to order some new extra buses for the 25. Sounds like they're being success since taking over from First.

Fantastic news indeed, I think Truffles (TfL) want to keep it as 59, I think they decide. If it is true, then I might not take the 25

Why would they order for the 25 when there's other buses in the area that would be up for tender around completion?

About their buses, 308 should convert to DD, meaning 25 shares with the 308, and it can use SDs, can that be a bad plan for TT ^ That is basically to order extra buses for the 25

The '28 group' would be best for new buses, 42 new Volvo B5TL's and 42 new Volvo B5LH's would be good meaning all three routes have a half hybrid allocation and then send 11 VNZs (As they are the longer buses out of the VNWs) but this wouldn't be until at least 2016 So the VNZs would be pointless because of their age.

So basically AS and X merge but PK gets it's space back (AS was yard of PK before), meaning that LU will have space to move 272 (if possible C1 / 72, 272 was gonna move anyways) to PK to make spacr for some other routes to be there.

An improvement on first, hopefully they can eliminate the bad habits of the company they took over by removing that horrid interior and putting a nicer newer one in... of course and not ordering Enviro400s with only one tree deflector
