Retrofitting old engines sounds good so does this mean the President and Geminis wont be Withdrawn from London even though both buses where a good design and familiar with engines on some Geminis.

My personal idea is to convert all routes that serve Central London to Hybrid buses.
But its quite interesting how the public money needs to be used to be spent on running the network whilst the 40% of the income which is fares to run it as well.

Is retrofitting anything like the Stagecoach Tridents with Biodiesel?

Not exactly. Retrofitting is to make the bus meet updated LEZ limits and entails fitting particulate filters and even new engines. Biodiesel is just a different type of diesel. If anyone wants to go into more detail about that, feel free. About the budget, I'd like to see the 39% that's allegedly used on improving services. Judging by the many cutbacks (though they seem to have slowed) it's being spent on vanity.
