I seen Leon Daniels posted on Londons Transport Yahoo Group that LT8 have a Euro 6 engine and expect to return to route 38 shortly. But he mentions theres going to be six Euro 6 New Routemasters and two of them field test vehicles which is LT172 and LT173 is going to Arriva shortly.

So the 8th prototype will go to Metroline instead of returning it back to Arriva London.
But with the engine change, why can't they make it more smaller as it's only recharging the batteries of the bus?
