The bus type serves the routes 203, 227, 507, 521, and x26. The 203 (London United) and 227 (Stagecoach) have normal layout which suits TFL's requirements. Red Arrows 507 and 521 is operated by Go Ahead London General. They have less seating and more standing room to carry people around the City from the railway stations to their workplace. They can hold up to 90 passengers which is more then some double deck bus types! X26 (operated by Epsom Buses) is single doored like a normal commercial bus service and it have luggage racks because the route goes from Croydon to Heathrow Central. The Red Arrow Citaro appeared on route 170 few times due to shortage of buses. Also appeared on 453x for the Notting Hill Carnival services. The MCL's for the 203 also appeared on H37. The Stagecoach Selkent's 231** also rarely appeared on 61. its also blinded for the route 61.

MCL01 of former Quality Line, now Epsom Coaches is a standard two door Citaro that appears frequently on route X26. The Go-Ahead buses sometimes appear on Rail Replacements in both West and East London.

MCL01-07 were former buses for the 293 until 2008 when Metrobus gained it. As far as I know MCL01 is the last Euro3 Citaro operating in London. MCL02-07 were operating in Surrey last time I checked.

The MCL's of London United also, sometimes, appear on route H37. But more as spare buses only.

The MEC50 been on the route 170 for a while. I'm quite likeing that, I hope it reaches onto 42 as rumored, but I don't see the reason of it on 201, I can imagine the tight-turning.
