The bus, which is the latest to be produced by Volvo has the most up to date Euro 6 engine technology and uses a 5 litre engine instead of the standard 9 litre making it more environmentally friendly and fuel efficient. The double deck bus, which has a modern design with glass panels at the staircase has been branded in our madder colours. After successful intital testing, the bus will go into service next month from each of our depots. Looks really nice. Seems a bit unusual for Lothian to use LEDs but the livery fits very well. Apparently a non-London operator has ordered a large batch of B5TLs, wonder if it's Lothian. Now Wright, where's the other London demonstrators?
