The title may sound like that but has two things: 1: New route 2: New ideas for current routes My example:433: Stratford City - Dulwich Wood Park Kingswood Drive: mapGipsy Hill Gipsy Road, Westow Hill, Crystal Palace Parade, Dulwich Wood Park, Gipsy Road, Hamilton Road (return via Clive Road then Hamilton Road), Carnac Street, Vale Street, Tritton Road, Rosendale Road, Turney Road, Croxted Road, Norwood Road, Herne Hill, Denmark Hill, Camberwell Road, Walworth Road, Newington Butts, Elephant & Castle, Newington Causeway, Borough High Street, London Bridge, Eastcheap, Great Tower Street, Byward Street, Tower Hill, Minories, Goodman's Yard, Minories, East Smithfield, The Highway, Butcher Row, Commercial Road, East India Dock Road, Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach, Stratford High Street, Great Eastern Road, Angel Lane, Montifichet Road, Stratford City Bus Station
^ Roueting is 15 miles, with 10 minutes freqeuncy peaks M-F and Sat peaks, Sat and M-F daytime and evening are 15-20, Sunday = 30.
Writing in red denotes hail & ride section.

If the Thames Gateway Bridge were built then how about the 53 extended from Plumstead to Beckton? Or keep the 53 as it is and do a new route 553 from Rotherhithe to Deptford via the 47 then following the 53 to Plumstead before turning to Beckton.

This might not be strange (since 507, 521 and 549 have the 500 series), but that number I numbered (or if you did before I did) is for temporary shuttles. You can number it 218, 278 and any other number from 400 series. And there was 378 and some numbers available in the 300 series. Since Thames Gateway wasn't built, how about the route to be extended from Rotherhithe to Beckton via Rotherhthe Tunnel and the A13. Map is be provided. If link doesn't work, click or tap here

Unorm Only minibuses can possibly fit through the Rotherhithe Tunnel, that wouldn't be possible. It could possibly pass through the Blackwall Tunnel like the 108 does though. The obvious issue is that it'd need SDs then. The route looks like this now, it's 11.4 miles long. 13.4 miles if it goes via Deptford and Blackheath.

I knew Rotherhithe Tunnel only fits for minibuses , even thought it was ME who talked of services passing there. P14 did. Which got renumbered 395 and got re-structed. Which got withdrawn with no replacement at all. 278 (newest x78 route that goes East London) can be SD. It doesn't need DDs AFAIK. So you changed your plan!!! You said it was to go via 53 to Plumstead!! I knew a better way without going via Plumstead. Thus now, this route is no longer 553. It will be 278. As 378 use to go to Beckton, got renumbered 678. Now. We will have another x78 to be with SC! (178 is with SC).

That was assuming the Thames Gateway Bridge is never built, you did a good job of illustrating the route if the bridge was built on your Flickr.

Thanks GloriousWater I used info from Wikipedia which included a shocking history of the plan........ Basically: Plan was introduced 1970. It was supposed to be done now...........

Perhaps a silly idea: Route X71: Dagenham Docks - Dartford, via Rainham, Purfleet, Dartford Crossing, Little Brook Hospital and Livingstone Community Hospital. Nearly 16 miles with the average of 30~40mph travel. PVR - 4. Every 30 minutes.

@myparadiselostjs Nice route, however it'd be a waste not to make it go via Lakeside and Bluewater. However if it existed I'd use it if I were going that way. PVR needs work though, I think it's too small.

I think Route 349 shud be extended to Stratford city from Stamford hill via Clapton and Homerton or via Walthamstow (St James st) and Leyton PVR 20 12-E 6-EC that would be a good link that does not exsits and make the 349 more useful

I realised there was tight roads in the St Gothard Road area (Hamilton Rd and Gipsy Rd). So it will have to hit on (half annoying) Sth Croxted Rd, else if 433 happens, then the drivers will have to get used to reversing... *plans for days....... apparently............*

86 to Aldgate, and 25 cut back. Wouldn't work cutting the 25 back, there are many end to end riders of the route. If the 86 was extended then it would have to be cut back to Chadwell Heath in order to prevent the route getting to long. The 62 could be withdrawn between Marks Gate and Chadwell Heath and Extended to Romford Station to Make up

That would make 'regulating the service' much easier.

521: New Cross Gate Sainsbury's - Waterloo Stn via St Pauls The extension plan will see the route being extended to New Cross Gate to give the commuter link to Waterloo serving places like St Pauls and Canon St without having to change for a bus to get there in which case is the 63 or 172. It will also some relieve to 21 which I feel is struggling to run a decent service from NX recently

Plan B 129 to be extended to London Bridge via 177 routing towards Peckham and at Deptford Bridge joins the 453 where it will meet with the 21 at New Cross.

Plan B 129 to be extended to London Bridge via 177 routing towards Peckham and at Deptford Bridge joins the 453 where it will meet with the 21 at New Cross. IMO that is better than your 521 plans as 521 is high frequency, may not have a high PVR, but it's like a 25.

The 415 really needs an extension, so do 323 and 330, as per being 3/5 miles. I see that they do carry a load but maybe this: (Green font notes Station, Stn = Station Currently: 323: Limehouse Burdett Road, (via route 115 to Canning Town Bus Stn) Canning Town Stn;- Manor Rd for Star Lane DLR Stn, Cody Rd, Twelvetrees Crescent, Bromley-by-Bow Stn, Devons Rd DLR Stn, Devons Rd, Bow Common Lane-; Mile End Station, (via route D6 to Ash Grove) - Ash Grove.330: Canning Town Stn;- Barking Road, Plaistow Police Station, Plaistow Greengate, Barking Road, Upton Park Boleyn, Upton Park Stn, Forest Gate Princess Alice, Forest Gate Stn, Woodgrange Park Stn.;- (via route 678 to Stratford), (via route 276) - Bow Bus Garage.415: Norwood Bus Garage (or where 68 stands, which stands infront of the garage since Abellio are taking it ), West Norwood Stn, Tulse Hill Stn, Tulse Hill, Effra Road, Brixton Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton Stn, Brixton Road, St. Mark's Church for Oval Station and Cricket Ground, Kennington Park Rd Kennington Road, Kennington Stn, Kennington Park Rd Penton Place, Elephant & Castle Stn, Elephant & Castle Newington Causeway;- (via route 40 to Aldgate) - (via route 205 to Bow Church) Bow Church.
Writing in Black means current roueting Writing in Red means should be routeing (extension)Writing in Green means Station. ;- Stn

Perhaps to Aldgate would be enough. For the 330, there's no suitable place to stand near Bow Bus Garage, perhaps extend the route to Hackney Wick via 488? Or perhaps to Bromley-By-Bow Tesco. (Again via 488.) Or even to Mile End. I wanted to have a look at the 678's routing, and for some reason these two sites are both different. 678 from Beckton to St George's Road678 from Beckton to Stratford
Both are on the TfL website.
