On this thread there will updates for the operator Saf-One London (I know, a bit cheesy). To save writing later, we are basically the Stagecoach of the London Operator Game. What that means is that nearly all our buses will be Alexander Dennis with the Stagecoach chassis options. We will also use Stagecoach fleet codes where applicable. All our buses will carry the Stagecoach Livery.
Noticeboard 21 June Operation of Route 376 commences from Bow BW
22 June Route 607 transferred from King's Cross KC to Fulham FM
28 June Operation of routes 200, 228 and 366 commences

We have cancelled our last bid for route 55 and have made a new bid. We have also bid for routes 56 and 607. Both of these routes will be run from King's Cross KC if they are won. If route 55 is won existing Tridents will be used as well as new buses.

Update 23 May We have put in bids for routes: 19, 22, 25, 27, 34, 35/N35, 55/N55, 56, 207/N207, 212 and 607. If all these routes were won then routes 25, 34 and 212 would be run from Bow BW. All others would be run from King's Cross. If we do win all routes then a massive order of 290 buses would have to be placed. We would also have to buy at least one more garage.

Saf-One London has successfully won the award for routes 34, 56 and 607. Although full details are not out yet, it is likely all these routes will be run using ADL E400's.

London Connect has contacted us regarding route 55 and it is likely that the route, which was won by London Connect, will be exchanged for the route 34 free of charge. I will give an update when I receive a reply and once the swap is confirmed by TfL.

Saf-One London has been chosen as one of the operators to receive new, leased Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC hybrid's. MHC22-MHC30 will operate from our Bow garage. The buses are expected to enter service mid-June. For internal purposes, the buses will use the regular ADL E400 fleet numbers.

Just to confirm, we have won routes 55, 56 and 607. Route 607 will use ADL E400 hybrid's. We are to propose a hybrid conversion for route 56 to TfL. If successful, we will use ADL E400 hybrid's as well. As for the 55, we already have 12 ALX400/Tridents on the way of the correct length. For the rest of the allocation, we will seek permission from TfL to use 10.6m buses as well as 10.5m buses. If successful we will order 19 Scania Omnicities.

By Tuesday, if we have not received a reply from TfL we will have to order the buses specified for routes 55 and 56 so that they arrive on time. Also, if the proposal for route 55 is successful, we will order 10 Scania Omnicities and 9 Optare Olympus' instead of 19 Omnicities in order to reduce costs. The Olympus' will use the code 11000.

We were supposed to commence operation of route 323 today from our Bow Garage. However, the buses for the route, which we ordered a day after winning the route, have not yet arrived.
Fernando Garcia (QB1) has also not responded to some of our other emails. We therefore assume he is busy and has forgotten to deliver the buses. For now, Stagecoach London will continue to operate the route.

Update 9th May 2014: Route 55: Route 55 will use 12 existing ALX400/Trident's, 10 new Scania Omnicities, and 10 Optare Olympuses. The Olympuses will use fleet numbers 14001-14010. The route will be run from BW
Route 56: TfL has accepted our proposal for hybrid conversion and 23 ADL E400H's 10.8m long have been ordered. The route will be run from KC.
Route 607: As originally planned, 21 ADL E400H's 10.2m long have been ordered. The route will be run from KC.
Route 323: As originally planned, 6 ADL E200's have been ordered. The route will be run from BW.
Of the 9 ADL E400MMCH's we are due to receive, 3 will remain at BW for route 55 while the other 6 will go to KC for routes 56 and 607. Occasionally, these buses may stray on to route 323, which is a single-decker route.
We have also put in bids for routes 53, 94, 220, 226, 228 and 376.

Update 10th June 2014: We have ordered 3 Gemini 2/B9TL's, 3 Optare Versas 10.4m long and 2 Versas 11.1m long. One of the Geminis will be used as a trainer bus while all the other buses will be spares. See our fleetlist for more information.

Update 12 June 2014 We have ordered 30 Gemini 2/B5LH's just a few days before it goes off the product list. (That's the reason why so many have been ordered though I said we wouldn't order many.) We have also ordered 5 Plaxton Pointers of each length, so 15 Pointers in total. These will use fleetcodes 35001-35015.
Furthermore, after some consultation, we've decided that any Geminis on B9TL chassis (ie; diesels) will use fleetcodes 13501-13999, while buses on B5LH chassis (ie; hybrid) will use fleetcodes 13001-13499. See our fleetlist for more information.

Unfortunately, because of my thirst for spare buses, we have a problem. When all ordered buses arrive, we will have just 21 spaces remaining at KC and 24 spaces at BW. Until we win another garage, we will have to store our buses somewhere else, possibly at Angel Travel's WH or Star London/Cityline London's Holloway garage.

After some consultation, we have decided that all our buses will carry the original Stagecoach London livery, with the blue and orange swirls. We have also decided that our hybrid buses will carry a green interior livery like the 61 plate E400H's at BW.

All 10 Scania Omncities for route 55 have been delivered with all blinds in them as ordered as well as 3 Volvo B9TLs and 8 of the Volvo B5LHs. 18 Enviro 400 Hybrids out of 23 have also arrived too. Another three B5L Hybrids will be here by the end of the night and the number of E40Hs should rise to 20. Hope you're happy with the delivery progress and expect them all to be rounded up by the weekend. LOSL

Just to confirm, we actually ordered 44 ADL E400H's- 23 of these were 10.8m in length and the other 21 were 10.2m long. Also, have the E200's arrived? I believe you told me 5 had arrived but I just want to be sure. And when will the free Tridents and E400MMC hybrid demonstrators arrive? This week as well?

All Enviro 400 MMC demonstrators have come in now, for every company that were to trial it, including Safwaan. The last Enviro 200 for route 323 has just come in as well, and the two Optare Versas you ordered yesterday came at a rather fast rate. The Tridents will ALL arrive in one go tomorrow, and the 10.2m buses - 9 have been delivered. Expect this number to rise to 15.

Operation of routes 55, 56, 323 and 607 commenced today, and there was A LOT of variety on the 55. For today and tomorrow, route 55 will see E400MMC's, Gemini 2's, Omnicities, Trident's and even an Optare Versa. Until all our buses arrive, this is how we will operate:
Route 55:12022-12024, 13001-13011, 13501-13502, 15001-15010, 17001, 17006-17012, 25004 Specified PVR:31 Actual PVR:33
Route 56:12028-12030,12031-12050, 25005 Specified PVR:23 Actual PVR:24
Route 323:36001-36004 Specfied PVR:4 Actual PVR:4
Route 607:10001-10004, 12001-12015, 12025-12027, 36005-36006 Specified PVR:21 Actual PVR:24
There are two reasons why a lot of SDs are on DD routes although the PVR is met: 1)Some buses on the routes are shorter than the specified length so we've put extra buses to make up for it. 2)We're slightly confused as to exactly which/how many buses have arrived, and we're not taking any chances.
The rest of our Tridents(17013-17024) are expected to arrive today, so from tommorrow 17001, 17006-17012 and 25004 will no longer operate on the route. 17001 and 17006-17012 will go out of service while 25004 will run on route 56.

We have won the bid for route 376. The route has been won with hybrid SDs. These are the possible options for the route. If the first isn't possible, we will go to the second, etc. Whichever option we choose depends on whether Metrocity's and/or ADL E350H's are available. We will propose a PVR rise from 8 to 10, BUT: the extra two buses will be diesel SDs instead of hybrid SDs. 1)4 new Optare Metrocity's, 4 new ADL E350H's and 2 existing Optare Versas. 2)8 new ADL E350H's and 2 Optare Versas. 3)8 Optare Metrocity's and 2 Versas. 4)8 Wright Streetlite's and 2 Versas. Unfortunately, route 94 was awarded to another operator. The rest of the routes we bid for are in Tranches 5-7 and therefore have not yet been announced. We will give an update later on the route 376's buses.

If Wright Streetlite's are ordered, they will use the fleetcodes 37000. If Metrocity's are ordered, they will use fleetcodes 26000 and ADL E350H's will use codes 27000.

Update for Route 376: Since ADL E350H's and Optare Metrocity's aren't available, this is what we will do: 1) We will buy 8 Hybrid Streetlite's, 10.2m long. At the same time, we will propose to TfL our plan for a PVR increase with diesel buses. If successful we will use existing Optare Versas 25004-25005. 2) When the ADL E350H becomes available, we will buy 4 of these 11m long and will sell 4 Wright Streetlite's to another operator. 3) When the Optare Metrocity becomes available, we will seek permission from TfL to use electric vehicles on this hybrid route. If successful, 4 Metrocity's 10.8m long will be purchased and the remaining Streetlites will be sold off.
